The day your Europe tour package begins to unfold. Upon your arrival at the international airport in Moscow, you will be received by one of the representatives of the concerned tour agent who will also help you in getting transferred to your hotel. As you reach your hotel, you will check in to your hotel and relax as you have rest of the Day 1 at leisure. Enjoy shopping in free time at GUM shopping center or stroll around at the Red Square. Enjoy sightseeing in Moscow on second day of your Europe tour. The history of Sergiev Posad city is closely related to Saint Sergiy Radonezhsky- a monarch who founded The Troitse-Sergiev monastery. Founded in 1340 by monk Sergius of Radonezh as a small wooden temple deep in the midst of Russian forest, Troitse-Sergiev is now the biggest monastery in Russia. This tomb, for past some centuries, has been a pivotal place of pilgrimage for almost all Russian orthodox believers. Next you visit The Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius which is the most important Russian monastery and is also known as the spiritual centre of the Russian Orthodox Church.
